After you have applied:

1. Your details will be passed to a local accredited installer company working on the CosyDevon scheme who will contact you within a few weeks to arrange a convenient time to carry out a survey on your property.
2. When he visits, the surveyor will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your insulatiion.  He will carry out a survey on your property to ensure that your property is suitable for insulation and assess what is needed, and also to advise you on the cost.  You can then decide whether or not to go ahead with having the insulation installed.
3. If you decide to go ahead, the insulation company will contact you to arrange a convenient time to carry out the install.

How long will it take?

On average loft insulation takes between 1-2 hours and cavity wall insulation between 2-3 hours depending on the property type.  There is very little mess and any that is created will be cleaned up by the installer.
